The inspiration for this one stems from a boredom killer exercise of unwinding jumbled spools of wire. This expression of jumbled feelings could only be best written in Marathi. Consequently, I return with a poem in Marathi after more than a decade ...

गुंता 

गुंता सोडविता सोडविता 
स्वतःच त्यात गुंतलो 
रुक्ष या जगाचे 
भान हरपून बसलो 

दोर जसा उलगडला
मी मुग्ध होऊन हसलो 
आठवणींच्या गोडव्यात 
दूर मी सरलो 

त्या पहिल्या पावसात 
पुन्हा एकदा भिजलो 
जगलेल्या स्वप्नात 
एकटाच मी रमलो 

गुंता केव्हाच सुटला 
पण मी गुंतत गेलो 
गुंतता गुंतता नात्याची 
दोर कापून हरलो

Gunta kevhach sutla
Pan mi guntat gelo
Guntata guntata natyachi
